How to measure cup size after a mastectomy, selecting proper bra size and breast prostheses.

Thank you for taking the time to shop our site. We hope you are impressed with the discounted prices we have to offer. This page has been added to help you in the event you are not sure of what sizes to order.  We have laid out how to measure for the TECOA line of bras and breast prostheses. ( note that for the breast prostheses you will first need to determine your bra and cup size if you don't already know them ).

Measuring Bra and Cup Size

How to measure your bra size

STEPS:

  1. Measure around your ribs, just below your bust keeping tape snug not tight.
  2. Add 5" to that measurement to get your bra size (if odd number add 1 so if you measured 35 you would order a size 36 bra)

You can double check this number by measuring just above the chest from the center of the breast bone, under your arm to the center of your spine and multiplying that number by 2.

How to measure cup size

STEPS:

  1. Measure over the fullest part of your bust, keep tape level but don't pull tight.
  2. Take measurement from first step and subtract your bra size and use the difference in the chart below.

How to measure cup size after mastectomy

STEPS:

  1. Measure over fullest part of remaining breast from center of breastbone in front to center of spine in back.
  2. Double the measurement taken in first step and subtract your bra size then use the difference in the chart below.
